About EqualEd AI Ltd

Education redesigned from the learner outward.

EqualEd AI was founded around one belief: the educational advantages historically available to a small minority should become accessible to every child.

AS
Founded from a student’s perspective“Why shouldn’t students help redesign education?”

The founding perspective

Students experience the problem every day.

They feel the pace of a whole class, the question that goes unasked, the explanation that works for one learner but not another and the difference that individual support can make.

Why shouldn’t students also have a voice in redesigning what education could become?

Aryan’s founding question

“If AI can give one child access to extraordinary personalised education, why should that opportunity not be available to every child?”

Founder

Aryan Shekar

Aryan Shekar founded EqualEd AI from a student’s perspective and a belief that artificial intelligence should expand access to exceptional education—not simply make answers easier to obtain.

EqualEd’s founder story is an origin, not a substitute for expertise. The company intends to co-design with students, teachers, parents, safeguarding professionals, accessibility specialists and education researchers.

The company we intend to build

Ambitious about access. Humble about evidence.

EqualEd should be judged by what learners understand, retain and use independently—and by whether that opportunity reaches people historically excluded from personal support.

The long view

A trusted learning layer across teaching, practice and real-world application.

The vision is larger than tutoring software: one learner account, one evolving evidence model and different experiences for learning, applying, revising and receiving human support.
